Our friend and former Companis Worker Dayal Sarker died this month at his home in Seattle, after facing renal health challenges. He leaves his daughters Moushumi and Neha (in Seattle) and wife Debi (in India) to mourn him, along with friends and family in Bengal, India, as well as the Seattle area and in the Companis community and Seattle First Baptist Church congregation. Dayal was part of Companis from 2010 through 2015, and in service as a live-in eldercare companion. We will miss his bright smile and kind, caring heart. There is a GoFundMe campaign to help pay for Debi’s trip to the U.S. and the cremation of Dayal’s remains. Dayal’s legacy of love lives on. RIP, dear Dayal.
