Viola Eldred, a former hospital worker during the AIDS epidemic, was inspired to volunteer and make a difference. Companis paired her with Gay City Health Project, a resource center for the greater Seattle LGBTQIA community, providing both fun community events, health services and access to resources. There, Eldred served as a welcoming face, connecting people to resources and fulfilling a variety of Gay City’s needs. Today, Viola is a permanent staff member as an Operations Coordinator.
