Companis Worker placed with homeless outreach program

We're thrilled to announce Companis Worker Martha Hopler will begin a renewed one-year placement with the "Shared Breakfast" program at First Church. Martha, a social worker whose first Companis placement was at Project Access Northwest, is on hand during the breakfast to direct those in need of additional services, including food, shelter, clothing or medical care, to the right service provider or agency. Shared Breakfast is an awesome program, in which up to 300 to 400 people a week come in for a hot meal at the church. Martha, who continues to work at Project Access as a lead medical care coordinator, also has deep experience working with children and families and people with disabilities in Seattle and her native Philadelphia.

Fun fact: our "new" partner agency just happens to be the oldest church in Seattle, established in 1853!
